D.M.E. Engineering services in Tumut are the sole distributor of Metso valve products in NSW. Metso product brands include Neles, Jamesbury, Mapag valves and Stonel limit switches. D.M.E also offer the service of a valve audit to ascertain what units you currently have installed, what condition the units are in. We can sit down with the client and go through the application and advise if the installed unit is suitable for the application.

Valve Brands

Both the Neles and Jamesbury brand of valves have been manufactured for over fifty years. Together with Mapag we can offer control, automated on/off and manual valve solutions to cover Pulp & paper, Chemical and Petrochemical, Renewable Fuels, Industrial Gas, LNG/GTL and the Power industries.

Valve Servicing

On site in Tumut we have an authorized Metso valve workshop. This workshop is staffed by Metso trained personal. All work undertaken is in accordance with Metso specification and procedures. The workshop is fully equipped for the overhaul of valves of varying sizes both manual, automated on/off and control. We cater for the overhaul and calibration of all manufacturers’ valves and instrumentation. The workshop is equipped with a Nata certified Bemex for the testing and calibration of instrumentation. We offer the facility to leak test valves on a number of different mediums including air, water and helium.

We have a large installed base in NSW covering most industries Pulp and Paper, Petrochem, Mining, Diary, Food Processing, Timber, Chemical.

Recommendations

We have the capabilities to analyze control valves, make recommendations and then provide our client with a competitive quotation for the refurbishment or replacement of the valve.
